Burglary case goes to trial

A grand jury indicted a Weare man last Thursday for burglaries that allegedly took place in Bennington this past November.

Adam Belleville, 26, of Weare was indicted for three felony burglary charges — two for burglary and one for attempted burglary — and now faces trial, according to Bennington Police Chief Steve Campbell.

Belleville is still being held at the Hillsborough County House of Correction in lieu of $60,000 cash bail only, $20,000 per charge. Probable cause was found at Belleville’s hearing on Feb. 8 and the indictment occurred on Feb. 20 at the Hillsborough County Superior Court North, Manchester.

Scheduling a trial date for Belleville may take a while, Campbell said.
