Wednesday, May 7

Summons: At 1:45 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 202. After investigation, police issued the operator, Phillis Adams, 52, of Hillsborough, a summons for driving without a valid license. Adams is scheduled to appear at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough, on June 19.

Friday, May 9

Check welfare: At 5:10 p.m., police were requested to check the welfare of a North Bennington Road residence. The resident was found to be doing fine.

Saturday, May 10

Motor vehicle accident: At 12:10 p.m., police responded to Francestown Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that Robin Marchand, 44, of Bennington, was operating her vehicle, a 2007 Toyota, when she lost control and drove off the roadway into the ditch. She was not injured, however, the vehicle was totaled.

Arrest: At 10:30 p.m., after stopping a vehicle for speed on Route 202, police arrested Greta Camuso, 44, of Peterborough, after learning that Camuso had an electronic bench warrant for failure to appear at the Jaffrey/Peterborough Circuit Court. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 19 court date at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.

Sunday, May 11

Arrest: At 11:45 a.m., Justin Flagg, 24, of Greenfield, turned himself in on an electronic bench warrant for failure to appear at the Hillsborough Circuit Court. He was released on a summons with a June 12 court date.

Monday, May 12

Animal: At 9:30 a.m., police began investigating a report of a dog bite which occurred on South Bennington Road. The person bitten lives on Route 202. The individual was brought to Monadnock Community Hospital to have the wounds treated. The wounds were not considered serious, however, the skin was broken. The investigation continues and there is no new information at this time.

Arrest: At 11:30 a.m., Kyle Brissette, 19, of Bennington, turned himself in at the police department on a charge for resisting arrest or detention. He was released on a summons with a court date of June 12 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.

Civil standby: At 1:15 p.m., police conducted a standby at a North Bennington Road residence while personal property was picked up. The issue of having a police officer present was due to landlord and tenant issues.

Tuesday, May 13

Arrest: At 8 a.m., Travis Crandlemere, 30, of Bennington, turned himself in on a charge of theft of a snowmobile. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 19 court date at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.

Sunday, May 18

Arrest: At 3:15 a.m., after responding to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Hancock Road, police arrested Stephen Clarke, 46, of Bennington, charging him with DWI. Clarke was operating his vehicle, a 2000 Honda Accord, when he lost control and struck a stone wall. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 5 court date at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.
