Dublin police logs: June 12, 2014
Sunday, June 1
Arrest: At around 10:30 a.m., with the assistance of the Peterborough Police Department, Dublin Police arrested Louisa Walker, 54, Peterborough, on an arrest warrant for the misdemeanor charge of theft of services. Police obtained the warrant after investigating a theft of services complaint from T-Bird Mini Mart. Reports said Walker pumped $44.69 worth of gasoline into her vehicle on May 27 and attempted to purchase the gas using a personal check which was declined. Walker was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bail with a court date of August 5.
Saturday, June 7
Motor Vehicle Accident: At 6:45 p.m., police responded to a single car crash on Old Marlborough Road. A 2004 Hyundai operated by a 16 year-old male from Marlborough left the roadway and struck a tree. There were minor damages to the left front door and no injuries were reported.
Sunday, June 8
Simple assault investigation: At 11:30 a.m., police investigated a simple assault at Phoenix House, 3 Pierce Rd. Staff reported a 16 year-old male resident was involved in an altercation with a 14 year-old male resident. Officers investigated and determined the altercation was verbal and not physical and no criminal charges were filed.
Monday, June 9
Vandalism: At 2:20 p.m., police responded to a vandalism complaint at Phoenix House, 3 Pierce Rd. Staff reported a 16 year-old male resident was damaging property. Officers filed criminal mischief charges. The resident was discharged from the facility and released to his parents.
