Tuesday, August 12
Mischief: At 7 a.m., a tenant of Prescott Hill Apartments reported her tires were slashed during the night. Police are investigating the matter.
Accident: Richard Whittemore, 67, of Winchester was driving a Chevrolet Traverse on Route 101 by the Trinity Evangelical Church at about 4:50 p.m. when a GMC van sideswiped him while trying to pass him, according to police reports. Donald Sevigny, 65 of Hudson, was driving the van. Neither driver was injured. Whittemore’s SUV was moderately damaged on the driver’s side, while Sevigny’s van had minor scratches.
Harassment: A Summer Street resident called 911 at 5:38 p.m. to report another tenant was at her window provoking her to come outside and fight her. After the resident called 911, the other tenant reportedly fled to her apartment.
Wednesday, August 13
Suspicious voicemail: At midnight, a Wilder Street resident reported receiving a suspicious voicemail. She asked police to make a note of her report of the voicemail. Officer Ashley Pepelis tried to contact the phone number connected to the alleged suspicious voicemail, but there was no answer.
Accident: At 12:30 p.m., Laura Gourlay, 49 of Peterborough was driving north on Concord Street in a Nissan Rogue when she was rear-ended by a Kenworth T800 truck, driven by James Peard, 23 of Jaffrey, according to police reports. No one was injured. Both the truck’s bumper and the SUV’s rear were damaged. The SUV was towed from the scene.

Restraining order: A resident reported someone he has a restraining order against was violating the court order by contacting a family member through Facebook. But the order does not prohibit this kind of contact, so police called the resident to report this was not a violation of the restraining order.
