Area artists in N.H. Craftsmen exhibit
The League of N.H. Craftsmen is hosting a creative exhibition, “Continuing the Tradition,” at its Gallery at The Craft Center and headquarters in the SMILE! building at 49 South Main St. in Concord through June 19.
The exhibition features fine crafts handmade by newly
juried members of the league, including Kathy Marx
of Francestown, George
Morrison of Mason, Joe
Farchaus of New Ipswich, Michael Austin of Peterborough, Shana Brautigam of Rindge and Melinda LaBarge of Keene.
“This exhibition is our way to introduce the work of our new members — master craftsmen who have met our stringent standards for skill and creativity,” said Susie Lowe-Stockwell,
executive director of the League of
N.H. Craftsmen. “The League has a long history -- 81 years -- and our members, with visions and personal histories, keep us vital and strong.”
The League of N.H. Craftsmen is a nonprofit, craft education organization.
