Francestown resident joins loan fund board

The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund has announced that Janet Ackerman of Francestown has been elected to a three-year term on its Board of Directors.

Ackerman is a vice president of Commercial Lending for Optima Bank & Trust in its Bedford office.

She serves as chair of the N.H. Community Development Finance Authority; as a board member for Home, Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services in Keene; on the N.H. Supreme Court’s Attorney Discipline Complaint Screening Committee; and on the Investment Committee for Monadnock Community Hospital.

Ackerman has a Bachelor of Art’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She lives with her son, Ryan.

The Community Loan Fund is a nonprofit that turns investments into loans and education for people across New Hampshire.
