Tuesday, Nov. 19

Motor vehicle crash: At 7:20 a.m., dispatch was advised of a single-car motor vehicle crash with a deer just east of Reed Carr Road near Keene Road. The vehicle was identified as a blue 2006 Chevy Tahoe. There was no damage to the vehicle and no injuries. The driver, Sheila Johnson, 54, of Bow, was able to drive her vehicle away from the scene.

Motor vehicle crash: At 4:30 p.m., dispatch was advised of a single-car motor vehicle crash with no injuries on Main Street near High Street, involving a vehicle that collided with the dam. Upon arrival, the police observed a white Volkswagen convertible at rest, after crossing both lanes of traffic and having crashed through the guardrail and into the concrete barrier of the dam. Police observed visible crush contact damage to the entire front of the vehicle and observed fluids leaking into the water. Antrim Ambulance and Fire were dispatched to the scene. The operator, Nicholas Levesque, 19, of Antrim, was cleared as having no injuries and a boom device was set up on the water to contain the fluids. The Department of Environmental Safety was contacted and very little fluid leaked from the vehicle, which was later removed and towed. Levesque is not facing charges for the damage to the dam.

Saturday, Nov. 23

Motor vehicle crash: At 5:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a single-car rollover on Keene Road with unknown injuries and unknown occupants, reported to be in the area of the Stoddard town line. Police responded and observed a 1999 Ford Ranger with major crush contact damage off the paved portion of the roadway. The operator, Stephen McKee, 54, of Hillsborough, was the only occupant in the vehicle, and he was evaluated and signed off with Antrim Rescue. According to the police report, the accident was a result of ice covering the roadway. The vehicle was later removed at the owner’s request by a towing company.

Sunday, Nov. 24

Motor vehicle crash: At 8:50 a.m., police were dispatched to a single-car motor vehicle accident on Clinton Road with no reported injuries. When police arrived, they observed the vehicle to be off the roadway and down the embankment in an Antrim resident’s yard. There was no damage to the property besides minor guardrail damage. The vehicle sustained front-end damage and was later towed. The operator, a Peterborough juvenile, did not sustain any injuries. The accident was a result of icy roadways and N.H. Department of Transportation was called to sand the road.

Motor vehicle crash: At 2:30 p.m., police responded to a single-car motor vehicle accident on Smith and Miltimore roads. The operator, Kevin Boucher, 26, of Antrim, did not report any injuries. The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and was later towed. The accident was a result of icy roads and the operator slid down Miltimore Road and came to a rest on Smith Road, where the roads intersect.
