Sara Halloran of Greenville was honored at the Evening of Excellence Night hosted by Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, Mass. The event was held at The Double Tree in Leominster, Mass.

Halloran received a certificate for completing the Honors program and was presented with an Honors stole. She was recognized for completing a rigorous Honors Program which included challenging courses, and a research conference that she presented at UMASS Amherst.

She graduated from Mount Wachusett on May 21 with a State Scholar Degree, earning an Associate in Liberal Arts. She was a full-time student, made the dean’s list every semester, finishing with a 3.73 grade point average.

She is planning on transferring to Clemson University for the fall semester to major in psychology.

She is the daughter of John and Ruth Halloran of Greenville.
