Talk about Great Dixter Gardens at Hancock library, Thursday

Eleanor Briggs, a photographer and gardener, will share her experiences from a gardening seminar in a talk at the Hancock Town Library on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Briggs attended a seminar in November led by Fergus Garrett, head gardener at Great Dixter Gardens. This English garden was made famous by Christopher Lloyd, the provocative writer and horticulturalist. Garrett worked with him for 14 years until his death in 2006 and continues his legacy of design and education of young gardeners.

The talk is free. For more information, call the library at 525-4411.
