Camera Club meets at Civic Center

The first meeting of the Monadnock Camera Club in 2014 will be held at the Jaffrey Civic Center on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Members and guests will be viewing the New England Camera Council Color Print Circuit, which will feature color prints entered from clubs all over New England. The circuit will be accompanied by expert commentary. The prints will be displayed individually and a judge’s audio commentary will be played. After the judge’s commentary on every image, the winners of this year’s circuit will be announced. If you are interested in learning more about taking pictures, this is a good learning experience.

Also, there will be a presentation by Club President Frank Gorga on camera filters in the Digital Age.

The Monadnock Camera Club has an exhibition of photo prints at the Peterborough Library through January. For more information, see www.monadnockcameraclub.org.

If you would like to give a short presentation, in digital or print format, of your work to the club, contact President Frank Gorga at fgorga@gmail.com about a week before the regular monthly meeting.
