Zumba event raises $1,222 for shelter

Que Viva Fitness LLC recently held a Zumba Mega Party fundraiser for Shelter From The Storm. The event was held at St. Patrick School in Jaffrey, with over 80 people of all ages participating. Sheilla Parkerson, Zumba extraordinaire, also collected personal care items for guests of the shelter.

The event raised $1,222 for the shelter.

Additionally, Marybeth Hallinan, director of Two Rivers Community Choir, presented a concert at the United Church in Jaffrey, with donations going to SFTS. The choir performs benefit concerts throughout the year.

Shelter From The Storm is a nonprofit located in Jaffrey, offering transitional housing and support services for the homeless.
