Reading program kicks off June 26

The Jaffrey Public Library’s summer reading program, “Dig into Reading,” will kick off with two special programs this year beginning June 26.

On June 26, at 2 p.m., the Children’s Room will host a “Create a Cave” decorating party. Participants will learn about the Lascaux Cave and have an opportunity to create cave paintings to hang in the downstairs hall of the library.

On June 27, at 2 p.m., musician Scott Kepnes will perform his program, “Rock Down Underground.” All ages are welcome to come for a lively presentation of participatory songs and stories.

Both programs are free, and no registration is required. For more information, call the Children’s Room at 532-7301.
