JAFFREY — David Hoffman, the driver of a vehicle that allegedly caused a fatal accident in Rindge on Nov. 6, was arraigned on a charge of negligent homicide at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on Wednesday afternoon. As part of his bail conditions, Justice L. Phillips Runyon III ordered that Hoffman be fitted with an ankle bracelet for house arrest and that he not drive; bail was set at $20,000 cash or surety. Hoffman, 54, of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, entered the courtroom Wednesday on crutches, with his left foot in a cast from injuries suffered in the accident.
