Sara Lewicke Graves, M.D., M.S., was honored on June 27 at Dartmouth College for completing her six-year residency in orthopaedic surgery. While a resident at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, she completed a master’s degree in healthcare leadership at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. After taking her boards in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Graves will complete a one-year fellowship in trauma orthopaedics at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., which is part of the University of Minnesota. Following that, she has accepted an Orthopaedic Surgery position at Central Vermont Medical Center in Barre, Vt.
Dr. Graves is the daughter of Dr. Bette Lewicke of Dublin and John Lewicke of Mason. She attended Mason Elementary School, St. Patrick’s School, St. Bernard’s High School, Smith College, and the Keck Medical School at the University of Southern California. Dr. Graves is married to Neal Graves, formerly of Ashfield, Mass., and has a three-year-old daughter, Genevieve.
