Sunday, Nov. 18
Alarm: At 10:45 a.m., police responded to an alarm at a Valley Road residence. All was found to be secure.
Criminal mischief: At 12:30 p.m., police received a report from a Valley Road residence stating that his car had been egged the evening before. This has been an ongoing issue. The resident will be installing a security camera.
Neighbor dispute: At 12:50 p.m., police received a report from a Starch Mill Road resident stating that his neighbor took wood from his property and won’t return it. Police mediated and the wood was returned.
Monday, Nov. 19
Illegal dumping: At 7:10 a.m., police received a report of illegal dumping of waste on Sandpit Road near Black Brook. It appears that a camper was releasing gray water. Police will attempt to follow up with a group that was camping there the previous week.
Assist other agency: At 6:33 p.m., police received a request from Milford police to serve a subpoena to a Darling Hill Road resident. The subpoena was served.
Thursday, Nov. 22
OHRV complaint: At 4:45 p.m., police received a report from a Campbell Road resident stating that at 1:30 p.m. that day he observed an orange off-road motorcycle operated by a someone wearing an orange helmet cross a woodlot on Townsend Road owned by the caller. The property is posted for no motorized vehicles.
Accident: At 10:37 p.m., police received a report from a Barrett Hill Road resident stating that he or she struck a male whitetail deer that ran out into the roadway while traveling on Route 31. The deer was killed. There were no physical injuries reported.
Friday, Nov. 23
Citizen assist: At 5:16 p.m., police received a request for assistance from a Marcel Road resident who was having difficulty with his 17-year-old son, which includes the return of musical equipment.
