Saturday, Nov. 24
Gunshot complaint: At 8:10 p.m., police responded to a report from a Brookline Road resident stating that she heard gunshots near a neighbor’s home. The source of the gunshots was not determined.
Suspicious incident: At 10:25 p.m., police received a report from a Mitchell Hill Road resident stating that someone had stopped at the end of the road and was speaking to a friend. There was no criminal aspect.
Tuesday, Nov. 27
Theft report: At 11:45 a.m., police received a report from a Darling Hill Road resident stating that last summer someone came to the station and stole the fuel from his tractor trailer. The previous week he parked his car with a full tank of fuel and, when he left home on Thursday, the tank was empty. He put locking caps on the gas tanks and installed a camera.
Wednesday, Nov. 28
Accident: At 6:40 a.m., police responded to the intersections of routes 31 and 124 for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed.
Thursday, Nov. 29
Stray dog: At 4:32 p.m., police received a report from a Gilman Hill Road resident stating that her husband recovered a female golden retriever with a pink striped collar with no tags and they have the dog in their possession. There are no leads on the owner. At 7:35 p.m., the dog was transported to a rescue kennel on Abbott Hill Road for safekeeping.
Saturday, Dec. 1
Accident: At 11:30 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Old County Road. Slippery road conditions were determined to be the cause. Both vehicles sustained non-reportable damage.
