Motor vehicle accident: At 2:46 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the Route 31 and Route 124 intersection.
Assist: At 8 p.m., police gave a courtesy ride to Lauretta Lu of Boston following a motor vehicle crash. Lu was transported to the Mason Police Station to make arrangements for a ride home. Police later gave her a courtesy ride to Whitney Field Mall in Leominster, Mass., to meet a friend for a ride back to her home.
Monday, July 29
Theft: At 1 p.m., a resident reported the theft of two mobile radios taken out of a plow truck parked in a storage lot on Pratt Pond Road. The theft occurred at some point between the reporting and the last snowfall. One was Motorola fire radio, and the other was for use by the Highway Department. The town was notified of the loss of the Highway Department Radio. There are no current suspects.
Trespassing: At 6:41 p.m., a Scripps Lane resident reported a person on his property near his house to pick wild berries. Police made contact with the trespassing person, and both the trespasser and home owner were advised of the laws pertaining to trespassing and consideration for posting land.
