Faculty exhibit at Sharon Arts Center

The New Hampshire Institute of Art (Institute) is presenting an exhibition featuring the work of the Institute’s graduate programs faculty members at the Sharon Arts Center Exhibition Gallery, which will be open through Aug. 30.

A gallery reception will be July 25 from 5 to 7 p.m.

This exhibition showcases the work from graduate program disciplines including photography, the visual arts, and ceramics. Artists represented include Matthew Acker, Chris Archer, Jason Bagatta, Brian Bishop, Lucinda Bliss, Lindsay Coats, Troy Corriveau, Tim Gaudreau, Jacquelyn Gleisner, Marcus Greene, Emily Masterson, Buzz McLaughlin, Claudia Michael, Emily Masterson, Craig Stockwell and others.

The Institute’s Master of Fine Arts low-residency program offers concentrations in visual arts, photography, creative writing, and writing for stage and screen. The Institute also offers a Master of Art in Art Education, a program designed for the certified working educator.

“We are excited to bring the work of our distinguished faculty artists to the gallery,” said Camellia Sousa, gallery and store director for the Sharon Arts Center. “It is important for people to not only realize but to see and experience the vast talent that exists among the Institute faculty along with their continued dedication to honing the skills of their craft.”

Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
