ConVal students design new Peterborough library logo

The Peterborough Town Library’s plans for renewal have resulted in a partnership with ConVal High School graphic design students.

Students in Andy Bills’ Region 14 ATC Graphic Design program have been working on concepts for a logo for the 1833 Society, the nonprofit organization charged by the library trustees with planning, design and construction of the new Peterborough Town Library.

After reviewing all of the designs, a team of four 1833 directors, Tina Kriebel, Ron McIntire, David Simpson, and Audrey White, undertook the task of selecting a final design from a field of six. In the end, the team found that they liked aspects of two designs.

Junior Marguerite Krommes took on the final effort to complete the design. Her finished logo, a collaboration of all of the graphic arts students, was presented to the 1833 Society Board and was immediately accepted.
