Talk to discuss Peterborough history

Divine Mercy Parish will hold the next session in its winter/spring speaker series Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Fr. Paul Fohlin, O.C.D., will present The History of The Common (the former retreat house operated by the Discalced Carmelite Community on Elm Hill in Peterborough).

The presentation will include a slide show of historic photos, with references to the many prominent people who were part of that community. The free talk is open to the public and will be held at St. Peter Church, 18 Vine Street, Peterborough.

During refreshments following the presentation, those gathered will have an opportunity to share their own memories of The Common.
