Poetry reading April 18 at the Peterborough library

Marylou DiPietro will be reading from her poetry at the Peterborough Town Library today, from 7 to 9 p.m., in celebration of National Poetry Month.

DiPietro’s poetry has been published in numerous publications. She edited “Take One,” poems by homeless children in New York, and “Flowers in Your Path,” an anthology of poems by residents of the Village Nursing Home in New York City. She was assistant editor and co-writer of “Horses” by LeRoy Neiman.

The poetry reading is free and open to the public and will be held in the downstair’s meeting room. Refreshments will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
