Caroline Trowbridge from ConVal High School won second place in the New Hampshire Daughters of the American Revolution (NHSODAR) Good Citizen competition.

Trowbridge and Good Citizens Emy Veeser from Mascenic High School and Katie Tonyai from Conant High School were among the 62 Good Citizens recognized at the NHSODAR awards luncheon in Concord April 19. State Senator Jeb Bradley was the guest speaker.

A good Citizen is a senior selected by faculty and fellow seniors for patriotism, scholarship, dependability and leadership. He or she must be of strong character, honest, self-controlled and devoted to family, school and commumity.

Trowbridge, Veeser and Tonyai were sponsored by the Mary Varnum Platts-Peterborough Chapter of the DAR.
