Saint Mark’s had role in Brantwood

To the editor:

Your fine article about Brantwood Camp in Tuesday’s Ledger-Transcript did not mention the important role of Saint Mark’s School. I was a counselor at the camp in 1944 when all the counselors were Saint Mark’s students.

The school has had a close connection with the camp dating back close to 100 years and although now many of the staff are alums of the camp this is a natural consequence of its expansion and, more importantly, of Saint Mark’s intention to broaden the base of support.
