Forum to discuss trends in health care

The Monadnock Center for History and Culture is launching a free program series named Community Conversations that will focus on local issues.

The first Community Conversation, “To Your Health – New & Exciting Trends in Health Care,” will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bass Hall.

Community Conversations will feature local experts talking about local challenges and solutions. The programs will begin with a 20-30 minute presentation by a local expert or panel of experts followed by a moderated discussion.

“To Your Health” will be presented by Peter Gosline, CEO of Monadnock Community Hospital, and John Schlegelmilch, the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, who will discuss the exciting and positive developments which are going on in the medical world. Among the topics they will explore are thinking about healthcare delivery in different ways and the important role of the primary care physician.

Following their presentation, the floor will open to a conversation moderated by Laura Gingras, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Relations at Monadnock Hospital.
