Saturday, Nov. 2
Arrest: At 10:30 a.m., following a traffic stop on Route 136, police arrested Jonathan R. Sherman, 28, of Lyndeborough and charged him with possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and possession of controlled/narcotic drigs. Sherman was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a Dec. 2 court date in 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.
Accident: At 3:26 p.m., a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Sean Lorette, 38, of Milford, who was driving south on Route 202, ran into a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, being driven north by Martin Lutz, 82, of Rindge, after Lutz turned across the southbound land into the Mr. Mike’s gas station. Lorette was taken by ambulance to Monadnock Community Hospital after complaining of injury to his neck. Lutz was not injured. Lorette’s truck had almost no damage and Lutz’s car had minor damage. Both were driven away.
Sunday, Nov. 3
Disturbance: At 9:50 a.m., after getting a report of a man yelling on Currier Avenue, police located the man on Pine Ridge Road and spoke to him. He said he got into an argument with his mother and was just out for a walk.
Juvenile complaint: At 12:20 p.m., police spoke to juveniles at Prescott Hill Apartments after getting a complaint that they were hitting a car with the ball while playing soccer. The juveniles moved to a different location.
Domestic issue: At 6:05 p.m., police were notified of a possible domestic dispute on Summer Street. One of the people involved went to a friend’s house for the evening.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
Arrest: At 10:38 p.m., following a traffic stop on Route 101 near Temple Mountain State Park, police arrested Gwynneth E. Thomas, 52, of Melrose, Mass, and charged her with driving while intoxicated. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance with a Nov. 18 court date.
Arrest: At 11:32 p.m., after checking on a suspicious vehicle on Vose Farm Road, police arrested Jesse Snell, 18, of Greenfield. Snell was charged with possession of alcohol, transportation of alcohol by a minor, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a Dec. 2 court date.
Thursday, Nov. 7
Accident: At 5:50 a.m., Deidre Coakley, 24, of Mason lost control of her 2006 Mercury Milan on Route 136 near Old Bennington Road and hit a tree. The car had moderate front-end damage and was towed. Coakley was taken to Monadnock Community Hospital as a precaution.
Drug investigation: At 8:55 a.m., police opened an investigation after ConVal High School officials reported that two students were caught with drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, Nov. 9
Theft report: At 1:05 p.m., a Peterborough man said he put down a six-pack of soda before he went into a store in the Peterborough Plaza and when he came out it was gone.
Sunday, Nov. 10
Threatening: At 2 p.m., a resident reported that a contractor had threatened him.
Threatening: At 5:55 p.m., a resident reported that her brother had threatened her.
Monday, Nov. 11
Dispute: At 7:10 a.m., police responded to a 911 hang up call from Prescott Hill Apartments and determined that it had been a verbal dispute. One person left the residence after police spoke to the people involved.
Assist: At 10:54 a.m., police assisted Monadnock Community Hospital security staff with a disorderly patient.
