Wednesday, Feb. 26

Arrest: At 12:35 p.m., police arrested Tina Kokoska, 52, of Rindge on a $1,000 bench warrant, which she was able to pay and was subsequently released on $1,000 cash bail. No court date had been recorded for the log.

Arrest: At 7:15 p.m., Swanzey police executed an arrest warrant issued by Rindge police for Gary Covey, 37, listed as homeless, for violating a restraining order, also issued by Rindge police. Police charged him with violation of a court order and he is due at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on April 2.

Thursday, Feb. 27

Arrest: At 2:40 p.m., police executed a search warrant and two arrest warrants for Joseph Nagle, 54, of Rindge, and Tammy Nagle, 52, of Rindge. Both were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and breach of bail conditions. They were transported to the Cheshire County House of Corrections and each held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. Both were arraigned the following day at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.

Arrest: At 7 p.m., police responded to a call from Franklin Pierce University, where they arrested and charged Tyler Giordano with prowling and possession of a controlled drug. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance and was scheduled to appear in the 8th Circuit District Court, Jaffrey, on March 5.

Friday, Feb. 28

Accident: At 9:23 a.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving two cars. Police say that Cheri Hauck, 46, of Jaffrey was driving her 2004 Ford F350 north on Woodbound Road when she collided with John Knowlton, 43, of Winchendon, who was driving a 2003 Ford F350 in the opposite direction. There were no injuries reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. According to police, the road was narrow because of snowbanks on either side, and the vehicles clipped their mirrors.

Saturday, March 1

Accident: At 12:18 p.m. police responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision in the Walmart parking lot. Christopher Ferro, 30, of Jaffrey was backing out of a parking space in his 2004 Pontiac Aztec, when police said he collided with the 2006 Ford 500 driven by Lanie Bellen, 32, of Bennington. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed. The Ford sustained damages to the passenger side door and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Arrest: At 5:45 p.m. Rindge police executed an arrest warrant, issued by Rindge police, for Gary Covey, 37, listed as homeless, after he violated his bail conditions for a second time by making contact with a person he was ordered not to. He was given $1,000 cash bail and arraigned on March 3.

Arrest: At 10:15 p.m. police responded to Franklin Pierce University on a call involving a drug investigation, but subsequently arrested Matthew Rossi, 18, of Walpole, Mass., for unlawful possession of alcohol. He was released on a summons and will be due in the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on Apr. 2.

Sunday, March 2

Arrest/rescue: At 12:45 p.m. Rindge police responded to an emergency call at Franklin Pierce University, Granite Hall, to assist Jaffrey-Rindge Rescue personell who were treating Megan McDonnell, 18, of Arlington, Mass., for alcohol poisoning. Arlington was issued a summons by police and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. She is due to appear in court April 2. Arlington was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital by ambulance.

Arrest: At 1:55 a.m. police responded to Franklin Pierce University for a report of an unwanted guest. Upon arrival police located the suspect, John Wiggin, 20, of Marshfield, Mass., who fled into the woods. Police searched the area and located Wiggin. He was arrested and charged with loitering/prowling, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and will be due in court April 2. He was transported to the Cheshire County jail for protective custody.
