Tuesday, June 18
Arrest: At 5:30 p.m., Shawn Decost, 19, of Nashua turned himself into police on a warrant issued by the Rindge Police Department, charging him with false fire alarm, aiding and abetting. He was released on $500 personal recognizance with an Aug. 7 court date at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey. Police said Decost maliciously pulled a fire alarm at Franklin Pierce University’s Mount Washington Hall.
Arrest: At 7:15 p.m., Ryan Seaburg, 19, of Rindge turned himself into police on a warrant issued by the Rindge Police Department, charging him with simple assault, domestic-violence related. He was released on $750 personal recognizance with an Aug. 7 court date.
Friday, June 21
Burglary: At 4:30 p.m., police responded to a residence on Old New Ipswich Road for a report of a burglary. The resident told police that several thousand dollars in cash, electronics, laptops and gaming systems, as well as check books and credit cards, were among the missing items. As a result of their investigation, police learned about a potential suspect in New Ipswich who had allegedly received some of the items stolen from the Rindge home. New Ipswich police arrested and charged Jared Kot, 25, of New Ipswich with receiving stolen property. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance with a July 23 court date. The Rindge burglary is under investigation and charges out of the Rindge Police Department may be forthcoming.
Saturday, June 22
Attempted burglary: At 8:45 p.m., police responded to a residence on Cromwell Drive for report of an attempted burglary. Police said the resident came home to find a door to the home open, but nothing was reported missing. The case is under investigation.
