Tuesday, Oct. 22
Theft: At 4:55 p.m., police responded to Walmart where a theft had previously occurred. A man allegedly stole a 30-pack of Budweiser and fraudulently returned another item. Charges are pending, and the case is still under investigation.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
Fake I.D.: At 7:10 p.m., police responded to Foggs Mini-Mart for a report of a fake I.D. Officers identified the suspect and charges are forthcoming.
Friday, Oct. 25
Car accident: At 1:20 a.m., officers responded to a single car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Mountain Road and Ingalls Road. The driver, Jeremy Licciardo, 20, of Fitzwilliam, was traveling in his Chevy Prism when he failed to negotiate a turn and drove into the woods, police said. His vehicle was significantly damaged and was towed. No injuries were reported.
Sunday, Oct. 27
Toilet papering: At 1:30 a.m., police responded to reports of local youths throwing toilet paper on the trees on the town common. The youths were gone by the time police got there. At 1:45 a.m., police responded to toilet paper rolls being thrown toward the station. No damage was found, and according to Det. Jeff Seppela, no one was caught.
Monday, Oct. 28
Theft: At 2:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Walmart. A man reportedly stole about $60 worth of merchandise. Investigation is ongoing and charges are forthcoming.
