Letter: Put energy into new revenue
To the editor:
Gail Cromwell is no longer a member of the ConVal School Board after many years of devoted “service.”
Unfortunately she can’t seem to separate herself from its goings on as evidenced by her recent lawsuit against the district. This maneuver, the latest in a long line, share the common theme of her preoccupation with the costs associated with public education in our district.
I’d like to suggest that in her retirement from the School Board, Ms. Cromwell consider a new hobby to occupy her time and boundless energy — school district revenue enhancement. I’m sure that she could make great progress in addressing this issue if she chose to apply herself with the same level of enthusiasm that she has for cutting education costs. In the mean time, in order to be true to her current cause, Ms. Cromwell should reimburse the district for legal costs associated with the defense of her recent action.
