Easter Bunny at Rotary breakfast on March 31
The Peterborough Rotary Club has just received confirmation that the Easter Bunny will again be hoppin’ down the bunny trail to their annual Easter Pancake Breakfast on March 31, 7 to 10 a.m.
This year, the breakfast will be held at a new location: the ConVal High School Cafeteria. New Hampshire Ball Bearings has generously hosted for the past 40 years, but the company’s current success and production demands make them unable to host this year.
For over 40 years the Easter Bunny has attended this annual breakfast and will distribute Easter eggs to every child. Students in the ConVal Child Development classes will supervise a coloring activity, read stories and hand out helium balloons.
The breakfast will feature chocolate chip pancakes as well as the tried and loved blueberry and plain pancakes. Bunny suggests that you douse your pancakes with pure, local, maple syrup donated by Morning Star Maple in Dublin and complement your meal with sausages, orange juice, coffee, tea or milk. Boy Scouts, Troop 8 and students from the ConVal Interact Club will be on hand to help serve. Tickets are $5 per adult and $3 for children under 12.
Committee Co-chairs Ted Renna and Laura Gingras report that 100 percent of the proceeds from this event are returned directly to the community in the form of scholarships, charity and other deserving causes. Please send donations to P.O. Box 354, Peterborough, NH 03458. Donations are tax deductible.
Peterborough Rotarians meet at noon on Mondays at the Monadnock Country Club. For membership information, please call Dave Sobe, vice president, at 924-3321.
