Antrim police log: Dec. 19, 2013
Monday, Dec. 9
Motor vehicle crash: At 8 a.m., police responded to Concord Street for report of a single-car accident. Police said Wei Kang, 23, of Antrim slid into the tree in his front yard, while trying to enter his driveway. Kang was not injured and told police he was wearing his seat belt at he time of the accident. His vehicle, a 2010 Toyota RAV4, sustained major crush damage to the front. The vehicle was not drivable, but it was in his driveway and off the roadway.
Arrest: At 4:30 p.m., police went to a Smith Road residence to execute an arrest warrant for Raymond Bloom, 66, of Antrim, charging him with driving after suspension of license. Bloom was arrested and released on a summons, with a court date of Jan. 9 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough. Police also issued Bloom a motor vehicle summons for failing to change his address with the DMV.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
Motor vehicle crash: At 2:11 p.m., a source came into the police station lobby to report a single-vehicle accident between the Antrim Grange and the stone church on Clinton Road. The reporting party told police that the 2004 Volvo was on the side of the road on Clinton Road. Police went to the scene and found the operator, Zachary Proctor, 20, of Antrim, uninjured. Police said the cause of the crash was icy road conditions, which caused the car to go off the road and into a ditch. The car sustained some damage and was towed from the scene.
Motor vehicle crash: At 3:07 p.m., police received a call for a vehicle off the road north of Elm Avenue near Concord Street. The operator, Amanda McKernan, 22, of Peterborough, was driving a 2003 Toyota Corolla when she went off the road due to icy road conditions, police said. The car was towed from the scene without damage. McKernan was uninjured.
Friday, Dec. 13
Arrest: At 9:31 a.m., police responded to a Main Street residence for report of a domestic dispute. Police arrested Jennifer Eldred, 35, of Antrim, and charged her with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance, with a court date of Jan. 9 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.
Motor vehicle crash: At 11:24 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident near Edmund’s Hardware by Summer Street and Main Street. Police said a red 2013 Toyota pickup, owned by William Mulliner, 65, of Antrim, backed into a silver 2004 Ford, being driven by Russell Clark, 73, of Deering. Both cars were able to be driven from the scene and neither operated reported any injuries.
Saturday, Dec. 14
Arrest: At 1 a.m., police stopped a 2000 Chevy Cavalier by Concord Street and Old Turnpike Road for multiple lane violations. Police issued a warning to the operator, Nicole Brissette, 43, of Bennington, for the lane violations. There was also a warrant for her arrest out of the Peterborough Police Department. Antrim police placed Brissette under arrest on the warrant, charging her with issuing a bad check on July 11. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance, with a court date of Jan. 6 at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.
