Free summer Camp for ConVal middle schoolers

The Peterborough Rotary Club is sponsoring a FREE 6-day overnight summer program which would be run by Nature’s Classroom at Sargent Center in Hancock. The Camp will take place from July 6th to July 11th and will include academic and outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, and use of Sargent Center’s rope course and climbing tower.

The Goal of the program is to engage students and provide them with a rewarding and enriching opportunity to improve academic performance, foster new friendships, and share challenging and inspiring experiences. The certified teachers and trained counselors of Nature’s Classroom will receive academic guidance from Conval teachers, and the daily support and mentoring of Peterborough Rotarians and community volunteers.

It is intended for students who would most benefit from the program and otherwise might be unlikely to attend a traditional private summer camp. Registration is limited to 75 students selected by the Schools.

For additional information or to inquire about registration for this FREE program, please contact the South Meadow School (924-7105) or Great Brook School offices (588-6630).
