Thanks for a great festival season

To the editor:

The Monadnock Music Board of Trustees would like to express our gratitude for a successful 49th Festival Season. First, there is lots of thanks to be given to all of those great people who made this year such a success: to our staff, headed by our managing director, Christopher Sink; to our festival manager, Helen Titchener, whose efficiency and focus leave us at a loss for words; to our interns, Ryleigh Lorimer, Tim Gagnon, and Alex Avery, who were constantly taking care of every detail, from computer postings to ticket sales.

And then, of course, the music. We are fortunate to have Gil Rose as our artistic director. His vision of offering a full spectrum of music — some many centuries old, some from modern American composers — gave us an auditory treat of dynamic proportions. We thank our vendors, too numerous to list, for all the high-quality services they provide. Thanks also go to the folks at the Waterhouse Restaurant who provided the Monadnock Music staff, concertgoers and musicians with much deserved relaxation at the end of the Town Hall Concerts. It was great and it was fun. Until next year, heartfelt thanks to all of you town chairs, volunteers, sponsors and donors who made this festival season possible. We most deeply appreciate your support and interest in our cause. So, good people, let’s look forward to the 50th anniversary of Monadnock Music. It will be a fabulous season of delightful music offered to us by talented performers.
