WILTON
Rene Houle, a former Wilton Fire Chief and school bus driver, receives a courtesy ride back to his home in Milford on a Milford Fire Department engine, following a benefit in his honor in Wilton Saturday. The benefit, given by the the Wilton Fire Relief Association, the Wilton-Lyndeborough Women's Club, and the Lyndeborough Fire Department, attracted 250 people and raised $6,000 for Houle and his family to help alleviate the medical costs incurred by Houle's diagnosis of terminal bone cancer in August.
