Shakespeare event big success

To the editor:

Thank you to everyone who attended Speak, Drink & Be Merry! Project Shakespeare’s fundraiser to support theater education in the Monadnock area.

Community “celebrities” sharing their time and talents included Jason Lambert; Members of the Cecilia Ensemble of The Grand Monadnock Youth Choir — Cailin Ennis, Cassie Cutting, Arianna Zrzavy, Fiona Caton Field, David Vernier (composer); Christopher Commander; David Trimble; Scott Gardner; Millie Vigneault; Rick Davis; Herb Motley; Michael Lichter; Kathy Batchelder; Marie Cassady; Dick Ames; Charlie and Dorris Richmond; Susan Leach; Caroline and Clay Hollister.

Project Shakespeare’s outstanding actors included Jennifer Migotsky, Genna Weidner, Alexa Murray, Yasmine Seghir, Hannah Bernier and Kaitlynn Shea.

Special thanks to Monadnock Inn for hosting; Savron Graphics for all the posters, programs and inspiration; Tom Doane for his excellent photography; and The Park Theatre for being PS’s first friend in 2007 and continuing that support today. Congratulations to the Board of Directors for a job well done — Valerie Atkins, Fay Migotsky, Herb Motley, Max Mitchell and Patti Ennis. Your generous support will help Project Shakespeare expand to two shows this summer — A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet — creating more opportunities for the youth in the Monadnock region. I am very grateful to all.
