MDS thankful  for performance

To the editor:

On behalf of everyone at MDS, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to those who supported the Sept. 17 MDS Benefit Preview Performance of Tea for Three at the Peterborough Players.

We particularly want to thank Leone, McDonnell & Roberts of Wolfeboro for their generosity in underwriting this special evening. We also thank those who bought tickets to the event, who enjoyed an array of tasty foods prepared by the We Can Do catering team, as well as those who donated although not able to attend. Baudelaire Soaps of Swanzey, L. A. Burdick’s Chocolates and Waterhouse Restaurant contributed gift items for our evening’s raffle. And we cannot forget the Peterborough Players organization, which provided us with this collaborative opportunity to showcase their theater and the work of an accomplished actress. Elaine Bromka’s performance of three First Ladies was amazing – hilarious, touching, with terrific nuance. It was truly a delightful evening’s entertainment, all for a good cause.
