Many helped with annual breakfast

To the editor:

On behalf of the N.H. Sisters of Mercy, I would like to thank the many people, businesses and organizations for helping us make our annual breakfast for the Women of Plaisance, Haiti a huge success. This includes St. Patrick Parish, St. Patrick School, Savron Graphics, the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, Stewart Properties, Jaffrey Knights of Columbus, Mr. Mike’s Jaffrey, Candy’s Country Creations, Hill Family Insurance, Jaffrey’s Country Cafe, Dunkin Donuts of Jaffrey, McDonald’s of Jaffrey, Peterborough Food Pantry, TEAM Jaffrey, Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, Cournoyer Funeral Home, Manhattan East Hair Design Studio, Mercy Volunteer Corps, Pelletier Sports, Soap and Suds Laundry, Gauthier Auto Service, Cliff’s Auto Body, Coreen Rivet Catering, Tieger Realty, Mariposa Museum, W.G. Ellerkamp Inc., Warde Health Center, and Seaver & McLellan Antiques.

It is impossible to thank all the people who assisted us with this project, but we would like to recognize the following individuals: Father Bill Deschamps, Sister Cecile Provost, Niki McGettigan, Billie Bergholm, Kimberly Sell, Robert Crowley, Nancy Hicks, Sister Melinda Hill, Sister Madonna Moran, Vivian Gentes, Candy Robarge, Michelle Plourde, David Blair, Paul Stewart, Katy Robbins, Becky Newton, Annette Marabito, Dick Hill, Randy Cournoyer, Joann Amato, Sister Cece Ferland and Sister Louise Foisy.

We also thank the people who created our baskets for the raffle, including Betty Jo Roy, Sister Melinda Hill, Carolyn Cicciu, Jodie Johnson, Sister Karen Ross, Linda Caracappa, Jean Frechette, Carele Mayer, Margaret McCormack, Maureen Petro, as well as the women’s groups from St. Patrick, Jaffrey, Divine Mercy, Peterborough, UCC Peterborough, Christ the King Concord and Sacred Heart, Greenville. We also thank the Knights of Columbus for their 120 raffle.

Finally we would like to thank the 342 people who graced us with their presence. We are indeed grateful to all. We are especially happy for the Women of Plaisance, Haiti, who are the recipients of your kindness and generosity.
