ConVal girls lose to St. Thomas-Dover

The ConVal girls hockey team lost to St Thomas-Dover 5-0 on Saturday. The steadily improving team played well in the first and third periods, but a scoring burst in the second put the game out of reach. Hannah Garfinkle, Catherine Long and Taryn Wing played strong offensive games, Jordan Kania and Andria Daragon showed some improvement on offense and Sarah Perrault continued to win most of her faceoffs. Defensively, Casey Kania, Sam Hanlon, and Emma Mellon led the way for the Cougars. Lilly Grisafi had another solid game in net with 31 saves on the day. ConVal also played Souhegan on Monday night.
