∎ Mascenic junior Tim Fafard picked up the win in 16:57 and sophomore Avery Traffie was second, as the boys cross-country team won a three-team meet at Bishop Brady on Saturday. The Vikings placed six runners in the top 10. Victoria Bostwick led the girls by finishing sixth.

∎ The WLC girls volleyball team won its fourth match in a row on Wednesday with a 3-0 sweep of Hillsboro-Deering. The Warriors won by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-18.

∎ The Mascenic golf team swept its two-team match with Laconia and Belmont on Thursday, finishing with a score of 164. Just four strokes separated the top five Mascenic golfers. Sophomore Roman Ojala shot a 39, followed by junior Shane Rautiola’s 40. Sophomore Adrian Somero finished with a 42, while Jordan Kinnunen and Chase Holombo tied with 43s.

∎ Senior Courtney Fisher finished 26th and classmate Rowan Wilson was 33rd, as the ConVal girls cross-country team finished 18th in the large school division at the Manchester Invitational on Saturday. Junior Andrew Hunt placed 37th, as the boys were 27th as a team.

∎ The Mascenic girls volleyball team swept its match at John Stark on Saturday, 3-0, winning 25-17, 25-12 and 25-14, to improve to 5-3.

∎ ConVal senior Sam Cody carded a 38 to earn medallist honors on Friday, but the Cougars still dropped both of their match-ups. It was his second medallist honor in row, also doing so on Wednesday. During that match, senior Ben Wescott finished with a 39 and JJ Nichols shot a career-best 47.


∎ The Conant golf team took one of two match-ups at its home course on Thursday, defeating Winnisquam, while falling to undefeated Bow. The Orioles finished with a team score of 190, 25 behind Bow. Junior Maky Seppala led the way with a 41, followed by freshman Kyle Damon’s 45. Junior Zack Damon shot a 50.

∎ Senior Sami Bosquet scored twice and dished out an assist in the WLC girls soccer team’s 5-0 win over Farmington on Wednesday. Lorrie Blais, Sophie LeVery and Kim Edmunds also scored.
