Charges may be forthcoming following a collision between a passenger van and a Jeep in downtown Jaffrey Monday morning.
On Monday, at about 9 a.m., a 15-passenger Ford E-450 van used to provide transportation to elderly passengers collided with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler at the intersection of Route 124 and Route 202, also known as Main Street and North Street.
Jaffrey police Lieutenant Christopher LaBrecque said the accident was still under investigation as of Monday morning, and charges may be forthcoming for a red light violation.The names of the drivers in the crash are being withheld until the completion of the investigation.
The four van passengers and driver, as well as the Jeep driver, were all uninjured. Both vehicles were damaged but driven from the scene.
