Southwestern Community Services has been selected to receive $19,750 in quarterly donations from 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County.
The announcement was made at the group’s Nov. 3, 2025, meeting, which also marked the chapter’s ninth anniversary.
Southwestern Community Services works with low-income individuals and families in Cheshire and Sullivan counties, providing services that include energy assistance and affordable housing. The organization said the funds will be used for affordable housing properties in Cheshire County, supporting system upgrades and other capital repairs.
Since launching in November 2016, 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County has grown to more than 360 members and has contributed more than $645,000 to local nonprofits. Members commit to donating $50 per quarter, with the recipient selected at each meeting.
The group’s next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 2, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Monadnock Covenant Church, 90 Base Hill Road, Keene. Refreshments and social time begin at 5:30 p.m.
