The Peterborough Town Library hosted its third annual โNoon Yearโs Eveโ countdown for families on Wednesday, Dec. 31, in the 1833 Room. Little ones, parents and grandparents enjoyed snacks, disco lights, dance music and cosmic bowling before counting down to noon for a New Yearโs celebration. Organizer and childrenโs librarian Aimee Larue said this yearโs event had a great turnout.
โWe took last year off because we had a Halloween party instead, but this year it looks like we are back and better than ever,โ LaRue said. โThis is a really great turnout, and it grows a bit every year.โ
The library began the Noon Yearโs Eve tradition after renovations to the library were completed in 2021.
