The Park Theatre will debut its ArtsCinema Music Series with a screening of “In Search of Mozart” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the performing arts center, 19 Main St., Jaffrey.
The feature-length documentary, directed by Phil Grabsky and produced by Seventh Art Productions, marks the first Music presentation in the theater’s ArtsCinema programming. The film examines the life and work of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and was created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of his birth. Narrated by Juliet Stevenson, with Samuel West voicing Mozart, the film travels across 10 countries and explores more than 80 compositions through interviews, historical locations and live performances.
The screening will take place in the 330-seat Eppes Auditorium.
Tickets are $18 and are available through the Park Theatre box office.
