More than 50 people gathered at the Peterborough stoplights Saturday for a weekly pro-democracy vigil with a Valentine’s Day theme.

Many participants held signs centered on love and unity. Messages included “Love Thy Neighbor,” “Love Melts ICE,” “ICE—Love Heals the Soul,” and “Hate Is Not Great.”

Organizers also handed out chocolates in keeping with the holiday.
