More than 50 people gathered at the Peterborough stoplights Saturday for a weekly pro-democracy vigil with a Valentineโ€™s Day theme.

Many participants held signs centered on love and unity. Messages included โ€œLove Thy Neighbor,โ€ โ€œLove Melts ICE,โ€ โ€œICEโ€”Love Heals the Soul,โ€ and โ€œHate Is Not Great.โ€

Organizers also handed out chocolates in keeping with the holiday.
