The Peterborough Town Library will host a hands-on floral workshop, “Random Acts of Flowers,” on Friday, March 20, at 4 p.m. at the library, 2 Concord St.
Local florist Kathy Birkebak of Birch Creek Flowers will lead the program, guiding participants through basic principles of floral design and tips for creating small bouquets. Each participant will make two arrangements — one to keep and one to give away as an act of kindness.
Birkebak previously led an evergreen wreath-making workshop at the library in December.
The workshop has a $20 supply fee, payable by cash or check at the library help desk, with checks made out to Kathy Birkebak. Registration is required and space is limited.
Registration closes Monday, March 16, at 9 a.m. Participants may register in person at the help desk or online.
