Hereโ€™sย a look at top performers and key storylines from Franklin Pierce University Athletics over the past week. ย 

No. 21 Softball

Franklin Pierce picked up a key NE10 doubleheader sweep over Saint Anselm on Saturday, highlighted by a 13-3 victory in game two. The Ravens used multi-run innings throughout the game, with Delaney Duford (Concord), Alicia Ott (Stockton, Calif.) and Maisie Lerette (New Gloucester, Maine) driving in runs early to build the lead. Lerette finished with multiple RBIs on the day, while Zoey Galindo (Merced, Calif.) capped the scoring with a three-run home run in the seventh inning.ย ย 

The Ravens continue to push through conference play as the regular season winds down with a road game against Assumption on Wednesday and a home weekend against Southern New Hampshire University starting Saturday, April 25.  

Womenโ€™s Lacrosse

Franklin Pierce went 1-1 on the week, with senior midfielder Erin McIlroy (Newfields) leading the offense. McIlroy totaled eight points on five goals and three assists, including three unassisted goals. She also controlled 16 draws, while adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a dominant all-around performance.ย 

The women’s lacrosse team will play the final game of its 2026 campaign at Assumption Tuesday. 

Track and Field

Franklin Pierce turned in a strong showing at the AIC Invitational, highlighted by Viktar Kachalouski (Brest, Belarus), who broke the program record in the high jump with a winning mark of 2.04 meters. Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) added a win in the 5,000 meters and a runner-up finish in the 1,500, while Noah Roberts (Westerly, R.I.) claimed the 1,500-meter title. The Ravens also picked up a victory in the 4×100 relay and added field event wins from Seamus Considine (South Kingstown, R.I.) in the hammer throw and Noah Delgado (Westfield, Mass.) in the javelin. 

On the womenโ€™s side, Issys Price (Brockton, Mass.) earned two wins in the 100 meters and long jump, while Melany Walker (Queens, N.Y.) captured the 400 meters. Abigail Philbin (Narragansett, R.I.) swept the hammer throw and shot put, and Destiny Fields (Lindenwold, N.J.) added a win in the discus. 

Menโ€™s Lacrosse

The Ravens wrapped up their 2026 season on Saturday with a road matchup against Adelphi. Franklin Pierce fell 25-7 in the finale to close the year with a 2-9 overall record and 1-7 mark in conference play. The season marked the first under head coach Ryon Lynch, as the program looks ahead to building momentum moving forward.
