New Ipswich, NH – Lucille G. Desrosiers of New Ipswich, NH passed peacefully in her home with her family by her side, on April 23, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on October 20, 1936, in Wilton, NH to parents Odilon and Theresa (Vaillancourt) Fortin.
Lucille worked at Pioneer Plastic in Greenville, NH for 26 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, going to bingo, tending to her flower and vegetable garden, and watching the wildlife on her property. She loved to travel and stayed very active.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Davis (husband Harold), of Pembrooke, NH; her son Paul Desrosiers, of Westford, MA; her sisters Lea Trempe, and Claudette Parmenter of Greenville, NH; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephew.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; her husband Ronald I. Desrosiers; her sons John and David Desrosiers; her brother Odilon Fortin Jr; her sister Laura Caron.
A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11am. A burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Ipswich, NH.
In lieu of flowers, Lucille has asked that donations be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association or a breast cancer charity.
