Christian Science practitioner and international speaker Nikki O’Hagan will present a talk titled “The Science of God and its power to heal us” on Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m. at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, 19 Grove St.

The free public lecture is sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Peterborough.

O’Hagan, originally from South Africa and now living in Ireland, will discuss her experiences with Christian Science healing and the role of prayer in addressing physical and personal difficulties. According to event organizers, the talk will explore the healing principles found in the Bible and in “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science movement and a New Hampshire native.

A member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, O’Hagan travels internationally speaking about Christian Science and spiritual healing.
