Temple hosted its annual Memorial Day services Sunday, including a parade on Route 45, and around the town common. Observances included wreaths laid at markers by the town’s Memorial Tree, in honor of David Quinn, Leon Blood and Murray M. Day, three Temple residents who were killed in the line of duty, and at the war memorials on the town common, each accompanied by a volley of rifle shots.
Following the parade, the Temple Town Band performed on the common.
