The Forest Business Accelerator is seeking entrepreneurs for its 2026 cohort, aimed at startups and seed-stage ventures developing products, services and technology for the forest and wood products industry.
Managed by the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, the four-month program connects participants with industry experts, suppliers, customers and investors through online and in-person sessions, mentorship and workshops. Participants will also compete for a $15,000 award.
Organizers are especially interested in ventures focused on advanced wood products, forest byproducts, underutilized tree species, forest industry technology and wood energy systems.
Applications are due June 5. The program begins online Aug. 3, with the first in-person session starting Sept. 14.
